I saw the worst commercial today.
It started with a young couple saying goodbye in a busy airport. It's apparent that the guy is leaving the girl behind for some faraway place. Then, we arrive at "3 years later" and the girl sees the guy on a cover of a magazine with another woman and the headline says something about them getting married.
Then miraculously, the first girl passes her former love on the street - but he's with the new girl. She can't help but notice the "beauty" of the new girlfriend who has considerably lighter skin...The spot ends with a photo of the first girl compared to the new one. And a voice says something about wanting to make yourself more beautiful...because apparently in India fair skin = beauty.
